Cofle S.p.A. is specialized in designing, manufacturing and marketing cables and control systems for use in the automotive industry. The turnover is divided across the following activities:
- sale of control cables and systems (62%): control systems (44.2% of turnover; gear sticks, brake levers and pedals, axles, steering columns and systems, gearboxes, motion drive systems, etc.), cables (38.7%; traction cables, handbrake cables, clutch cables, accelerator cables, transmission cables, valve cables etc.) and other (17.1%; injection-molded parts, plastic parts etc.). The turnover is divided by market between agricultural and earth-moving machinery manufacturers (95.9%), premium vehicle manufacturers (2.6%) and commercial vehicle manufacturers (1.5%);
- sale of automotive components (38%): brake cables (80.7% of turnover), clutch cables (12.6%), gear shift cables (4.3%), accelerator cables (0.9%), transmission cables (0.7%), brake hoses (0.3%) and others (0.5%; electrical cables for electronics, brake servos etc.).
At the end of 2022, the group had 6 production sites in Italy, Turkey (3), India and Brazil.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Italy (21.8%), Europe (74.5%) and other (3.7%).
